We apologize to fans in Warmbronn, we will make it up to you… -BP Gossip, Lies and Propaganda Galore! --- Brutal Polka Tour 2011 Dear Frog Fans, After a long and stressful year, lineup change and pigs falling from the sky, we can finally say that we are back on our feet again. The summer tour is booked and we are getting ready to come to your town and party like it's 1994! (see tour section for dates and info) In addition to the tour, we are just a few days away from finishing the recording process on our new album. We are really proud of it and hope that you will like it! We will release a single from that album in the next few weeks – so stay tuned to our different websites! Also, if you come and see us on tour, you could hear a lot more songs from the new album… We would like to thank our families, friend, club owners, festival bookers and most of all our fans, who have been so supportive in these troubled times. THANK YOU! What troubled times you ask? Well, after much consideration we thought we will not plague our website with too much discussion of such issues, since we do not think it is fair to our fans and supporters. Nevertheless, some comments are in order… At the (almost) end of last (2010) summer tour the band and crew of Brutal Polka underwent a horrible and traumatic incident of persecution. Much discussion and disagreements about how to react to the incident emerged. The immediate aftermath resulted in the leaving of two band members, and the rest of the band and crew questioned whether we want to continue at all. However, as time went by, and with much support of the band, crew, and our family and friends, we have decided that it would be unfair to our art, to our message, to Brutal Polka, and to our FANS, for us to cease making music and entertaining with our show. Consequently, we decided to tour again this summer in hope to clear our besmirched name. This effort has been thwarted a group of people who have taken upon themselves to spread false accusations, lies and anti-Brutal Polka propaganda throughout all the clubs, pubs, bars, squats, Festival and politically active leftists organizations. Many people did not believe their lies and so we have successfully booked a Summer 2011 Tour. Sadly, some people have. And this is so regardless of the fact that they have not heard ‘our side of the story’. And so, we invited anyone who has been poisoned by Anti-Brutal Polka propaganda and lies to email us at info@brutalpolka.com, tell us what you have heard and have us email you our official 20 page reply. THE GOOD NEWS, we will be touring this summer and if no catastrophes occur, if the persecution ceases, then we will continue touring Europe. Accordingly, we are happy and proud to introduce you all to the two newest members of the Brutal Polka family, our new drummer and bass player. We can confirm that Brutal Polka will play in the “Resist To Exist” festival in Berlin for the 3rd time! Stay tuned for more tour dates! -BP New Album, New Tour, Some Explanation Dearest Frog Fans, The time for us has come to update you a bit on our current situation. Well, first of all, to all our Goyim friends, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We’re here in Israel chewing on old potato latkes and ‘sufganiyot’ (Jewish Doughnuts). We are glad to say that we are continuing to record our new album, as well as, continuing to book our upcoming 2011 summer tour, and both of these endeavors are going well. See below for some videos from the recording sessions of the new album. On a different note, we owe you all some explanations. Some of you might have heard that our Summer tour 2010 was abruptly cut off and cancelled before we finished the entire tour. Ever since we have kept quite with regards to the issue until now… In short, the end of our tour was canceled because we were detained by police for being falsely accused of participating in the most ridicules escapades, of which we had no part at all. We were shocked that Brutal Polka, a band dedicate to creating colorful and diverse music, to entertaining, to making people happy and to promoting anti-fascist & anti-racist attitudes, as well as, generally liberal, rational and non-ignorant beliefs, would be persecuted and victimized in such a manner. Due to the lack of any evidence for such unrealistic accusation, the band and crew were released. Sadly, this absurd detainment cost us the last shows of our tour. We apologize to our friends, fans and bookers if any of you were hurt by our actions. However, due to the situation, the cancellation of the end of the tour was unforeseeable, inevitable and beyond our control. After consultation with our family, friends and lawyers, we decided, upon their recommendations, that the most responsible actions on our part would be to leave Germany until our besmirched names could be vindicated. We did not know why such evils fell upon us; nor if these evils were the result of anti-Israeli or anti-Semite sources. However, today we are proud to say that the case against us has been CLOSED and this most difficult time is behind us. Over the last 2 weeks we recorded a new album and its about 95% done. The rest of the album will be finished over the next year and we will try to release it by 2012. I have gained access to their website and will use my gigantic évil intellect to bring to the polka boys’ demise!!!! Anywho, I hope you are as disgusted as I, about Brutal Polka’s upcoming 15/16 show summer euro tour, they certainly are not. My sources tell me that, just as we speak, the polka boys finished one week of working on a new album entitled ‘Pink Is Brutal’ in a super secret location somewhere in L'Allemagne…. They have one week left to record it but the process has BEGUN. If we pull our strength together we just might find out where this wretched album is being recorded and sabotage the recording procedure. Anywho#2, I will faithfully keep you updated on the heinous new recording of the amphibious freaks-of-naturé with most magnifique anti-BP propaganda. In fact, a little green elf has whispered in my ear that the garçons might just be working on an insanely revolting Lena Meyer-Landrut cover song, and (here is the best part) they are getting sued for 10K euros because of it! We also want to thank all the clubs and festivals that hosted us and everyone else that helped make this tour the best we ever had. After a much deserved time off, BP is back in action.
